Truly one of my favorite sacred smells, palo santo can be described as delicate, sweet, and rosewood-y. Palo Santo has been used as a natural wood incense for centuries by the Inca and indigenous peoples of South America. Known as a potent energetic cleanser, palo santo has been used for medicinal purposes as well as purification rites.
